Sindh Minister for Fisheries Zahid Bhurgri has recommended to the competent authority for imposing ban on high-rise commercial buildings in Taluka Qasimabad for next five years. The minister directed DCO Hyderabad to conduct a survey of under construction multiple-stoery commercial buildings in the area. This he observed while presiding over the meeting about the development schemes of Taluka Qasimabad at Shahbaz Hall, here on Saturday.

Expressing his dissatisfaction over the performance of HDA, the Minister, who is also President PPP Hyderabad, said that neither the previous governments made any development in Taluka Qasimabad nor HDA maintained the existing infrastructure in the area. Taking serious notice of the pending work of 15 school buildings due to lack of required plots in Qasimabad, the Sindh Minister directed the EDO Education to submit report in this regard.
